I have always felt a disconnect visiting a doctor. I had this inner feeling (duh, my intuition) that they weren't listening and just didn’t get me or more truthfully didn't want to get me.
It was always the same... prescription in hand and sent out into the wilderness with what was essentially a ‘poison’ claiming to fix one thing that would potentially harm something else in the process.

This revelation lead me on a decade long path of self-discovery. Tuning into myself and exploring what my body was repeatedly trying to tell me. Researching, studying and learning what these ailments and emotions meant and how to treat them in the kindest and healthiest of ways.
It was here too that I also discovered the wonderful world of essential oils, crystals, reiki and the plethora of alternative therapies available to help us heal and feel nurtured.
